Call Mum was founded in 1972 and is based in Tarragindi, Brisbane, Queensland, and is still a small, family-run business. Our focus in the early days, when we covered only the Brisbane area, was entirely on offering a window replacement service – the first such service in Brisbane.

This was a completely new concept. Up to then most people never thought about their windows until they needed repair or repainting. Most windows were wood or metal framed and unless they became dilapidated beyond repair it was quite normal to simply take them for granted.

We introduced a new way of looking at them. Our message gradually caught on among home owners who were looking to not just enjoy the benefits of a good looking home but also to increase the value of their main asset.

As word of mouth spread, we quickly established ourselves as Australia’s leading window exchange service, and we have helped thousands of families in Brisbane and beyond in this way. But our range of services has grown to cover far more than just windows.
